Where is my data stored?

Gamepan is local-first, so everything lives on your PC. Your library is saved as plain files under your user data folder:

  • Windows: %APPDATA%\Gamepan\data
  • Linux: ~/.config/Gamepan/data

You can export, back up, or delete these at any time. Gamepan also keeps an automatic version history so accidental changes are recoverable. If you enable Steam Cloud, your library syncs across your PCs (Windows, Linux, and Steam Deck).

Reporting a bug

Please don’t email bug reports. Post them at r/Gamepan instead, where the developer and community can see them, track them, and follow up. Include what happened, your OS, and steps to reproduce if you can. It helps us fix it faster.
