Frequently asked questions
What is Gamepan?
A customizable desktop companion app. Instead of juggling a dozen browser tabs, you give each game its own workspace and fill it with exactly the tools that game needs: checklists, notes, maps, trackers, timers, and more.
How much does it cost?
Gamepan is a one-time purchase of $14.99. Buy it once and it’s yours. No subscription, no ads, no sign-up.
Which platforms does it run on?
Windows and Linux at launch, including native support on the Steam Deck. macOS is planned after launch.
Is my data private?
Yes. Gamepan is local-first with no account system and no tracking of any kind. Everything you make lives on your PC as plain files you control. Optional Steam Cloud sync is the only thing that ever leaves your machine, and only if you enable it.
Is it just for video games?
Not at all. It’s great for tabletop RPGs too. Keep character sheets, campaign notes, NPCs, loot, and session logs in one place, then pull them up at the table on a tablet with view-only sharing.
Can I share my setups with friends?
Yes. Export any workspace as a file and share it. When someone imports it, Gamepan treats its images and links as untrusted and keeps them behind a one-click review, so nothing unexpected loads until they approve it.
